The fate bearer of more than 1.74 students is finally around the corner. The CAT 2013-14 exam result is about to be declared on January 14, as disclosed by the authority of IIM Indore. The countdown has begun more the candidates who appeared for the exam and are eagerly waiting to taste the fruit of their labor. As per many estimates, this time more than 15000 aspirers can expect a call from the IIMís for the personal interview rounds.
With an increase in seats for MBA, the IIMís together have heightened the opportunities for candidates to get admissions. The older IIMís however are following their own process of admissions, but the newer institutes are widening the horizon, and will be calling more candidates for the WAT and PI process.

As it is very well known, the older IIMís obviously aim at admitting the very best and would be a lot more selective, this would be reflected in the CAT exam results 2014 too. Their policy this time too, would be the 1:10 ratio, i.e. for every one seat, there will be ten candidates in the line. But the newer ones, according to their own words, would call sufficiently numbered candidates for the personal interview round, for instance, ten thousand candidates, would be called for admission in eight hundred seats.
Although the year 2013, saw a considerable decrease in the candidates for CAT exam. The CAT exam 2013 was taken by around nine percent lesser candidates than 2012. Out of the registered candidates there were a huge number of those, who did not show up for the test. The IIM authorities, all over India pretty confidently state, that this would have no effect on IIM admissions, as they are already too choosy in their selection process.

The CAT exam result 2014 is going to be much awaited by the various exam takers, who dream of nothing much getting admitted into the major business schools in the country.

Every year, the students go under take various coachingís and trainings, in preparation for the CAT exam, in hopes pursuing masters in their preferred B- school.
